Veterans Distribution of Chicago is a regional final mile carrier servicing the Chicago Metropolitan, Rockford, Milwaukee, and NW Indiana Areas. Our family owned and operated fundamentals allow us to provide unparalleled flexibility and service levels. We are fully EDI capable, we have over 340,000 sq. ft. in distribution space, and our fleet consists of over 400 couriers.
Veterans Air Express offers national solutions when today’s work can’t wait for tomorrow. We will coordinate pickups in the Chicago Metropolitan Area and deliver to flights at ORD and MDW with TSA certified drivers. We can also arrange the final mile portion of an air express delivery with our national network of carriers.

On-Demand services from our sister company, Chicago Messenger Service, are available to meet all of your shipping needs at a moment’s notice. Contact us by phone, email, or fax 24 hours a day, every day of the year for your urgent deliveries.
We also have an on demand fleet of 16 to 26 foot straight trucks for deliveries in the Chicago Metropolitan Area up to 10,000 lbs. We make palletized and loose deliveries whether they require dock height or liftgates.
Everyone recognizes the importance of first impressions – we also recognize the significance of the last one. While the final-mile of a delivery may be a small portion of a transaction process, it is the one that directly connects you to your Customers. This singular fact makes your Customers end delivery experience our chief concern.
Our delivery professionals respect your Customers time and alleviate your chain of custody concerns. Products from regional and national vendors can be line hauled to our distribution centers, cross-docked, or picked up from your DC.
NiteMoves is our next business day delivery program. Our routes are equipped to handle deliveries from a single envelope to a straight truck load. Inbound freight will be received as late as midnight the day before delivery.
Freight is routed by our automated sortation system, consolidated by zip code into 125 routes, and deliveries are completed the following business day. Our footprint covers a 50 mile radius of Chicago, IL 60601, the Rockford area, the Milwaukee / SE Wisconsin area, and select zips in NW Indiana.
NiteMoves is a reputable program that is highly celebrated among our Customers. Pricing is based on volume and scope of delivery and will be discussed upon the evaluation of your delivery data.

We offer temperature controlled storage, consolidated low prices, secure inventory, will call pickups, shrink wrapping & palletizing, cross docking, and deliveries within our entire Illinois footprint.
Veterans Distribution of Chicago has over 300,000 sq. ft. in distribution space that includes 60,000 sq. ft. in temperature controlled storage; a 75,000 sq. ft. automated sortation system, 55 docks, and ample space to cross dock, sort & seg, and pick & pack freight. Accompanied by a fully EDI capable in-house IT department, we offer an extremely high level of customization.
