Our Story
When a mid-90’s strike within the transportation industry disrupted countless supply chains, our distribution to retail stores flourished. Veterans captured the immediate attention and trust of businesses needing products delivered overnight to Customers in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. With significant delivery density, volumes, and our experience in the same day sector, our distribution routes were born.
Today, we process over 40,000 items a night on a 75,000 sq. ft. automated sortation system. To celebrate our 50th anniversary (in 2014), we consolidated into a brand new 300,000 sq. ft. distribution center in Hillside, IL 60162. Our new home is the launching point of 125 daily routes that cover our immensely populated footprint that is shown below.

Veterans Distribution of Chicago is a regional final mile carrier servicing the Chicago Metropolitan, Rockford, Milwaukee, and NW Indiana Areas. Our family owned and operated fundamentals allow us to provide unparalleled flexibility and service levels. We are fully EDI capable, we have over 340,000 sq. ft. in distribution space, and our fleet consists of over 400 couriers.

Family History
Veterans Distribution of Chicago has been family owned and operated for over 50 years. Hy Factor founded Veterans with a focus on same day deliveries, and his son Bill has grown us into a full service regional carrier. Enter the third generation. Brad and Amanda Factor joined the Veterans Distribution of Chicago team in 2009 and 2012.
Brad continues to bring in new ideas and perspectives with his international business degree from Lynn University. As we expand into multiple transportation verticals, Brad sets and maintains goals that allow us to preserve our core values as a small business.With a degree from The University of Arizona, Amanda has a strong focus in sales, marketing, business development, and assuring our long term growth and success.
